Papa Sal`s in Blairsville

I've known Papa Sal at least 30, now, and have enjoyed every meal that I've been served. He the only owner I know of that you can watch working alongside his employees, and take a minute or two to greet you with a big smile, and warm greeting with a handshake. If you leave Papa's hungry, you did that yourself, because the portion are worth the price. The waitresses are most polite and engaging, helping you to feel right at home. Once you've been to Papa Sal's, you'll make his place a part of your dinner plans, I guarantee.

Most food is sub par. Wings and pizza are good.

Not a fan. Stuffed mushrooms DO NOT try. Fountain soda no free refills. Other food on a scale 0 to 5 was a 2. Service was good, poor beer and wine selection.

On point..I had the raviolis, stuffed peppers, stuffed mushrooms, and Chicken parm. Great food great prices. Must stop if your in town..

Best stromboli around!

Sals is the best Italian restaurant around Blairsville. Food is fresh and the servings are large. Best pizza anywhere. You must stop here if you are travelling on route 22.

Ordered take out tonight. Finished our meal 20 min ago and my boyfriend just got done puking it all up. I don't feel so hot either. Even if the food hadn't made him vomit, the quality was terrible. Literally every dish was mushy, flavorless, and greasy. So disgusting. Just go to Ravaila's

Food is good, but they only ever have one server working at a time, even at busiest hours.

Pizza is pretty good. I wouldn't recommend the pasta dishes.

The young lady that served us was very good. The chicken wings are why I didn't give a higher rating. The mild sauce had a strong vinegar taste they were the worst wings I have ever ate. My wife ordered gnocchi with meatballs. I ordered chicken parm. The pasta sauce was good. The chicken parm was very good. The meatballs were very good maybe the best restaurant meatballs I have ever had. The restroom sink didn't produce hot water. French fries were also very good. I ordered unsweetened tea it was awful, I'm not sure if it was even tea. Got root beer for replacement it was good. Restaurant was clean.

Unbelievably delicious!!! I had breaded chicken Alfredo. The sauce is homemade and was spot on. As was the chicken. I’d love to know his secret. Was so good. Will definitely be back

It was ok for what you get, but it could be improved. Can't get angel hair spaghetti at a itialin restaurant . No blue cheese dressing. But the home made spaghetti was good. Meat sauce is tomato sauce with the meatballs broken up in it, which is common in a lot of restaurants. Good and not exspenceive. You get what you pay for there. Service was extremely good.

Ate their Friday. Three in our party. The BEST STROMBOLI EVER, & very affordable! Fast friendly service too!!:)

One of the best crusts I think I have ever had! Their sauce was just right, their toppings were fresh and generous. I definitely recommend this place! We have had their lasagna and eggplant parm. They were also very good!

The food and prices are comparable with other Italian restaurants in my area. A nice quiet atmosphere with good quick service.

Very little sauce or cheese on the pizza. Very rude waitress. Very expensive. Large pepperoni pizza, two drinks and an appetizer was almost 50 bucks.

Great Pizza and Stromboli. This has become a new favorite for our house! Family owned and operated, they great you from the kitchen when you walk in the front door and thank you when you leave. How many restaurants can you see their kitchen from the front door?! Stop by give it a try and you'll surely be back agian!

Got a small cheese pizza- only for about 2 slices Im before I was full! The crust is delicious- the whole thing was great! I’ll be back

Hello, loved Papa Sal's!! You can always tell how good an Italian resturant is... By it's tomato sauce... My opinion.. Sal's sauce is wonderful, home made , too!! Nice folks, quick service and great food!! Easy access right off of Route 22 , just west of Tri-Star Ford. You won't be disappointed, enjoy !! God Bless, Keith

Stuffed hot banana peppers are awesome! A loud narcissist meeting an unknowing woman spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. Pure entertainment as he made himself the perfect match for her as she secretly rolled her eyes looking for an opportunity to bail! Lmao!

Very good italian food. It was all fresh and tastes homemade. The rolls were awesome and a must for everyone to get. The dinners are big so 2 people can order just 1 dinner and be full. You can take out or eat there. Very busy place but the wait time wasnt bad. The staff was friendly and price about average.

Used to go here all the time. Very disappointed tonight! Italian restaurant? Ah, no! Choice of 2 beers: Peroni or Miller Light. Salad was iceberg lettuce, cheese, & 2 onion rings. No blue cheese dressing. Sauce on lasagne & tonight's special (ravioli with peppers & sausage) was watery. 2 choices of dessert. Out of one. And then they said my $50 gift card was too old. Sad. However, the waitress was wonderful ..

I first need to say that u have to keep this in perspective. It's 4 stars in comparison to what is available in Blairsville. If anyone from let's say Pittsburgh area is looking at this review, because of the variety to choose from in those areas, they may have a different perspective. The quality of the food is good. The prices are decent. It does take longer than at let's say Olive Garden, but that's probably because everything is homemade. I appreciate that they're open on Sundays because I hate cooking on Sundays. They're bread is yummy.
